Our Beginning
Started our journey with a vision to create clothes that had a meaning to inspire and motivate anyone who experienced a struggling childhood. Name the original brand “GLOW (Grind Like Others Wouldn’t”.
2019
Where To Start?
We had the idea and the motivation to start but didn’t know where or how. We reached out to other experienced brand owners in our hometown seeking help and advice. We got overcharged for products that were made with a heat press and didn’t follow our design. The products were not good but we still sold them just from supporting family and friends.
2020
Growth Phase
We realized we weren’t selling quality products and wanted to change that to make our supporters happy. We just had to take a step back and be honest with ourselves. We educated ourselves a little more and came back with a new game plan.
2021
The Rebrand
After careful consideration, we came to terms that “GLOW” was more of a personal meaning instead of something that the whole world could relate to. So, we REBRANDED! The new brand name was now called “Pockets Different”.
2022
The Beginning
After years of no major online sales, we turned to popular social media brands and joined courses and bought manufacturers list in order to better our brand. Day in and day out we took time to actually learn the clothing industry. We were at the airport when our notifications kept going off from new orders. For the first time ever, we made $500 in a day. Fast forward, we rebranded one more time to something that’s more people could relate to. At this time we rebranded to “RICH DEPARTMENT”. Over the years we’ve seen a steady increase in sales and supporters.
